Time- After church
More Info:
It’s time to reserve your spot for our annual church camp out. We will be camping once again at the San Mateo Campground in San Clemente on Monday, July 11- Sunday, July 17. In order to make the reservation process go as smoothly as possible you will want to make sure you set up an account at http://www.reservecalifornia.com in advance AND “practice” making a reservation because things need to move along relatively quickly if you want to secure a spot. The website has changed a bit so practicing in advance will be important. This year we will once again be using campsites with hook-ups. Keep in mind that you can choose to camp wherever you would like but be sure to check out all the details of the site you choose such as: your trailer length, how many people or tents allowed, etc. 1. Once you have decided which date you will be arriving, that is the date in January that you will make your reservation at 8:00 am sharp on the reserve california website. For example: if you plan to begin camping on July 11th then you will make reservations on the morning of January 11th. Logging on at 7:45 am is advisable. Please encourage all who may even be considering camping with us to join in making reservations. The sites are gone within a few minutes and the cost to cancel at the last minute is minimal. 2. Once you are logged into your account, type “San Onofre SB” where it says “City or Park” . This will take you to the page where you enter the dates and click on “show results”. 3. Scroll down to Click on “San Onofre State Beach” and scroll down again to choose the loop “San Mateo Camp (sites 1-67)”. We will concentrate on sites “approximately” SM06-SM56, but anywhere in that loop is great. See map. If you have any questions
