St Thursdays- Peter Regulatus

St. Peter Regulatus was born at Valladolid, Spain, to a noble family, and entered the Franciscan Order in his native city at the age of thirteen. He transferred to a more austere monastery, where he practiced asceticism and was known for his ability to levitate and enter into ecstasies. He was also known for the reform that he brought to many in the Franciscan order.

St. Catherine was the daughter of St. Bridget of Sweden. She was a married woman, at the age of thirteen and convinced her husband to take a vow of chastity and remained a virgin for her lifetime.
