2nd Advent – Bethlehem Candle

The second Advent ceremony of the 2026 Christmas season!

The second candle is the Bethlehem Candle, also known as the Candle of Peace. It reminds us of the humble circumstances surrounding the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. Though the Savior of the world came into the world in a lowly manger, His arrival brought the promise of peace to all mankind.

As we light this candle, we reflect on the peace found in Christ and the incredible gift of God coming near to us.
