Class: AI and Christianity: Faith, Family & Technology
AI and Christianity is an important conversation as artificial intelligence becomes a growing part of our everyday lives. How might AI affect our relationships, our Christian calling and service, and the way we guide our children and grandchildren?
Join us for a free 4-week class as we consider the possible and likely impacts of artificial intelligence from a Christian perspective. Together, we’ll explore how this rapidly developing technology may influence the way we communicate, work, learn, serve, and relate to others.
Why Should Christians Talk About AI?
Artificial intelligence is developing quickly and becoming part of work, education, communication, entertainment, and everyday life. Christians don’t need to fear technology, but we should think carefully about how we use it and how it may shape us.
This class is an opportunity to slow down, ask thoughtful questions, and consider what it means to follow Christ faithfully in a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence.
We will consider the possible and/or likely impacts of AI usage by individuals on their relationships, Christian calling/service, and their children/grandchildren. If there is time, we may look at some philosophical or material impacts on culture/society.
